Team Renaissance thought that Season Two Shell Ideas360 would be the perfect way to round off their time at university. Nethia and May are specialising in Computer Science, but Alex is a Civil Engineering major. Together they have great ideas for the future and big plans to make their vision a reality.
They worked out that if we could save a quarter of this from going to waste we could feed all 870 million people who are hungry in our world today. The best thing is being able to see our knowledge put into practice. Shell itself, I think we have received tremendous encouragement from our Mentors, and not just our University Sponsor, we have other Professors who have shown their support and so it has been very, very helpful here and definitely pushed us to want to drive this further. AS LONG AS WE BELIEVE WE WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN, IT WILL HAPPEN. They might find themselves exploring more of Europe or venturing as far as the USA. As far as our idea was concerned, the team came on board first, then we sat down and we discussed, had a brainstorm on what we wanted to do. They met on the Renaissance Engineering Programme and have all become close friends over the past four years. We want to see new things, new cultures, new adventures, experiences.
